Greetings... any who have found their way here from Mrs. B's!  Welcome to Storytraining, a blog full of techniques, news, and inspirations for all disciplines of storytellers: actors, bloggers, class clowns, conversationalists ...and the list goes on.  Please take a look around:  I'd love to hear what you like and what you'd like to see!

I'm a big believer in the power of stories:  A local Abenaki storyteller used to say that stories teach us to be human.  Whether a person believe in wise witches like Terry Pratchett's Granny Weatherwax or  cackling villains like the wicked witch of the west has a lot to do with what stories they're told and those they choose to tell.

This is also the blog of the Talk to Strangers Campaign, a nascent movement calling for consumer awareness, independent voices, and community in film, print, pixel, and performance.  I hope you'll keep an eye out here for future developments.  Until then, thanks for visiting, and Happy pre-Halloween!
